Zatch Bell

> "A Freezing Spell!" (1.2)
Susie encounters a hostage situation at a bank. About eight minutes in,
there's a quick and extremely long shot of some of the bound (and
presumably gagged) captives. Around the 15' mark, there's a closeup of
Susie with her mouth gagged with light brown tape, her hands in the air.
Later, she pulls off the tape.
The rest of the sequence involves mostly long shots and background
shots, with a couple of closer ones of the bound (rope around their
upper torsi, wrists behind) and tapegagged hostages of both genders. The
best is a pan of five of them, two males and three females.
The sequence ends about 22' in, after Kiyo and Zatch save the day.

A not too bright villain Kiyo defeated early on returns and abducts Suzie and
several of Kiyo's classmates.  Kiyo finds a photo of Suzie and the three guys
sitting tied together (Suzie in front) and a message to meet for a duel or
else.  Meanwhile in the silo our villain has his captives sitting on a conveyor
belt over a long drop and is getting impatient that Kiyo's taking so long to 
arrive.  It turns out he forgot to tell Kiyo where to come for their duel which
was pretty dumb but he gets incensed at his hostages pointing this out.  He 
activates the conveyor belt and the captives hop as best as they can but are
losing ground and heading for the edge!.  The conveyor belt shuts down just 
as they slip over the edge and Suzie and a couple of the guys bite down on the 
belt to stop themselves falling.  We discover Kiyo shut down the conveyor having
deduced from the photo where to come for the duel.  The bystanders hold on by their
teeth until a windstorm from the magical duel tears them loose but it also shreds
their ropes and sets them down safely.  Only in anime!

The Zeta Project

* Fort Jinx
> There's an episode of the Zeta Project called Taffy Time.  Toward the
end of the show, one of the bad guys grabs agent Lee and cuffs her hands
together.   Then he drags her to a slanted conveyor belt.  In the next
scene we see  agent Lee with her hands above her head, cuffed to a bar,
and her feet  stretched out to a lower bar on a machine.  Her back is
pressed firmly against the conveyor belt, and she has a nice gag (which
is a big red-striped lolly pop).  The bad guy taunts her while she is
tied up as bait for Zeta.

Zoids

> In the episode "The Blue Devil", Fiona is bound to a post, rope wrapped
around her torso, atop a building around 21 minutes in. The scene lasts about
a minute.
