Yu-Gi-Oh * Grimbor > "Friends 'Til The End" parts 1-4 (episodes 75-78) Marik wants to make sure no one will interfere in the waterfront duel between Yugi and the mind controlled Joey so he has the mind controlled Tea sit in a heavy metal chair on the docks which then clamps metal bands around her ankles and wrists. Marik then turns off the mind control and Tea wakes up to find one of the Rare Hunters driving a crane onto her pier and swinging a large metal container over her head. If anyone intereferes he releases the crate and she gets crushed. That's part 1, in parts 2-3 there's a few shots of Tea sitting in the chair and some headshots but not much in the way of closeups of her predicament. In part 4 she is rescued when Seto Kaiba has his helicopter knock the crane boom away from Tea so the container plunges into the ocean. Where it explodes so I suspect some lines about it being packed with high explosive were cut from the translation. Anyway Seto's younger brother unstraps Tea but by then it's too late to affect the outcome of the duel. "Mind Games" (3 parts) Part 2 Mai's Amazon fighter is bound to Merick's Nightmare Wheel until she recalls her. Earlier in the show another of her amazons was manacled by the "Holding Arms" card but Mai sacrificed her to steal Merick's Egyptian God Card. Part 3 Merick summons the "Holding Arms" and "Holding Legs" cards (metal eyes with curved metal arms and chains with manacles on the ends of the arms) and with Mai unable to summon a duel monster they attack her directly. The manacles clamp onto her wrists and ankles then the chains retract and the holders fly back against the stone slab that appears when both cards are played and hold her spreadeagled against it. With Mai unable to retaliate and her mind in tatters from Merick's psychic attack she can't defend herself as Merick orders his Winged Dragon of Ra to warm up and uses its firey breath on her. Joey dashes into the dueling arena and tries without success to free her though his actions do shock her back to her senses. The dragon fires and Joey refuses to leave Mai so Yugi jumps into the way to shield them both. While Yugi saves them from the dragonfire since the attack would have wiped out Mai she's declared the loser. The slab disappears but Merick then uses his magic staff to project a vision into Mai's mind of her trapped in the bottom of a pyramidal shaped transparent hourglass while her friends ignore her plight. Merrick pulls out the card keeping the sand from falling into the hourglass's lower half and Mai faces being buried alive. Back in the real world Mai collapses into catatonia. Yu-Gi-Oh G/X Episode 5 : The Shadow Duelist (part 1) In a short scene Alexis is confronted by the Shadow Duelist and wakes up about a minute lated to find herself lying in a coffin like container with her wrists bound before her. The duelist zaps her unconscious and when she's next seen she's lying in the coffin knocked out but unrestrained where she remains until the next episode only waking up after she's been carried out of the mansion which isn't shown.
