Xiaolin Showdown * Biff Barksdale ** Grimbor > In the episode "Tangled Web", around the 23 minutes in, Kimiko (voiced by Grey Delisle) is ensnared in the ropelike strands of her comb weapon, which boomerang on her. She's enwrapped from ankles to nose, and remains so for about a minute. Kimiko gets wrapped earlier in the episode (about 7 minutes in) while practicing with the Tangle Web Comb which backfires on her. While she struggles in her shoulders to knees wrapping her buddies take the opportunity to go look through her stuff while she protests vainly until the head monk frees her and tries to teach her the focus needed to use the comb correctly. A message she finally gets while wrapped up the second time enabling her to free herself >> "Chameleon" After Kimiko's been knocked out by her android lookalike Jack Spicer calls in what looks like a hovering, automated straitjacket which grabs Kimiko and flies her off to his lair. After the commercial break we see Kimiko imprisoned in Jack's HQ inside a giant electrified birdcage but otherwise unrestrained. A classic villain mistake on Jack's part since soon as he's gone she uses her PDA to send a virus to the computer controlling the cage, crashing it and freeing her. >> "Royal Rumble" Kimiko Toho loses her xiaolin showdown with Catwoman wanabee Catnappe and winds up pinned to a tree by a net since the badguys have decided taking the young dragons out of the picture will make life easier so they're collecting them along with the artifacts. She's next seen in Jack Spice's dungeon alongside Clay and Ramundo. All three are gagged and standing with their arms manacled over their heads and wearing their martial arts uniforms. Omi arrives to rescue them and removes their gags in a fast move but it turns out they were gagged so they couldn't warn him it's a trap. All the villains attack and things look bad until Omi uses his artifact to untie with the Chi of his friends, gain their powers, pulverise the badguys (except for Jack who runs away) and frees his friends. >> "The Crystal Glasses" During Omi's fake vision of the future he briefly sees the other 3 trainees wearing heavy wooden yokes that imprison their hands. Kimiko is the last in line and it's all a bit blurry. Later in the show Kimiko is caught by a bolo fired by a Jack-bot that binds her arms to he sides. She wriggles free later on when the cave floods in a scene that's played more for laughs than to emphasize peril >> "Pandatown" Kimiko and Clay are mummified (toes to nose) by the Tangleweb Comb (shortly afterwards they're joined by Omi & Jack) which has been stolen by the crimelord of Pandatown. Later in the show they're seen tied to handtrucks (by ropes from waist to neck) in a storage room. They're joined by Ramundo but he let himself be captured so he could find them and smuggle in the invisible Dojo to cut everyone free >> "The Apprentice" Shortly before the end credits Catwoman wannabe Catnappe is hogtied by the mini warrior robots she had reprogrammed to rob the Xiaolin Warriors. Omi had guessed she was planning a doublecross and reprogrammed the robots first. >> "Judging Omi" In the first chapter of a three parter Omi returns to the temple to find that Jack Spicer and his minions have overrun the place and strapped Kimiko, Ramundo and Clay to a raised platform. Jack turns his tickle-bot loose on them to extract the information he needs and Omi hopes his friends can hold out until he can recruit some help from the occasionally honorable Chase Young (who eventually turns out to have set the whole thing up as part of a scheme to turn Omi to the dark side) since he's outnumbered. After Omi, Chase and his warriors have defeated Jack's minions Omi trashes the tickle-bot so his friends can finally stop laughing and frees them. >> "Finding Omi" In the final chapter of this three parter at the start of the show Chase Young has taken over the world and doesn't need Jack's old minions anymore (he recruited them in part 2) so while the opening credits are still rolling we briefly see Catnappe sitting bound to the cyclops beside the giant catapult Chase is using to dispose of his excess minions. While Omi and chase are talking she flies overhead with her hands bound behind her though you'll have to freeze frame to make that detail out. X-Men * Lard 69909 ** Austin899 *** Grimbor **** Biff Barksdale > In one episode, Mvstique captures a Senetor's secratary in an attempt to assasinate him. She morphs into this woman, then leads the Senetor to the room where to real woman is on the floor, bound, gagged, and blindfolded. >> In two episodes Jubilee gets wrapped in the metal tentacle of a sentinal. In another episode, while Cyclops was training in the Danger Room, the was simulation of Jean Grey and Rogue caught in the tentacles of some sort of monster. He uses eye blasts to free them, too bad it wasn't real. >>> The Scarlet Witch showed up in the episode "Family Ties" during which her hands were manacled behind her back. Later on the High Evolutionary took the precaution of also immersing her to her shoulders in a solidified translucent jelly. In a classic scene in "The Final Decision" Senator Kelly finds his secretary lying on the floor of his office bound, gagged and blindfolding having been replace by Mystique earlier in the day. The blindfold comes off once Mystique has shapeshifted into Gambit so she'll tell the world the Senator was killed by an X-Man. Fortunately the real Gambit arrives in time to save the day. During "Beyond Good and Evil part 1" Psylocke is bound by two metal bands under the control of Magneto and carried off as a prisoner. In "The Phoenix Saga part 2" Empress Lilandra is tied to a wooden chair which Juggernaut likes to carry around. After he puts her down she has to face it being toppled over by the alien spymaster Erik the Red. In "A Deal With the Devil" a radiation suited Storm is grabbed by the cybernetic tentacles of Omega Red. >>>> In the episode "Enter Magneto", around ten minutes in, in a flashback, Professor Xavier recalls an incident in which a woman is taken from a hospital bed (with a hand placed over her mouth) and later bound and overgagged in a wooded area before her rescue. A relatively brief sequence of less than a minute, IIRC. In the episode "Days of Future Past" Part 2, Mystique impersonates an aide of some sort, leaving her bound around her torso, ankles tied, and overgagged and blindfolded about twenty minutes in. X-Men Evolution * Biff Barksdale ** Grimbor > In the episode "African Storm", Kitty is very briefly lassoed around her torso near the end. In the episode "The HeX Factor", Wanda Maximoff (aka the Scarlet Witch), is shown stringently straitjacketed and heavily guarded in the opening sequence. She quickly uses her powers to free herself and escape her captivity. In the episode "Sins of the Son", around thirteen minutes in, Jean is shown lying on her side manacled hand and foot in a short scene. Her wrists are bound behind her. Just after, there's a quick shot of her grabbed by her arms, pinning them to her sides. In the episode "Cajun Spice", about a minute and a half in, Rogue is grabbed and gassed by Gambit. After the ad break, about five in, she's shown in a boxcar, covered by a blanket up to her neck. She leaps at Gambit and tumbles to the floor, revealing that she's bound hand (behind) and foot. Later, about the nine-minute mark, she's shown again with the blanket over her. We see her bonds when Gambit releases her. This last scene ends after about thirty seconds. >> In the first season of X-Men Evolution during part one of "The Cauldron" both Storm and Jean Grey are grabbed by metal tentacles from Magneto's pods. "Target X" X 23, the teenage female wolverine clone created by Hydra in an earlier episode is captured by them and seen strapped to a gurney being taken for mindwipe. She recovers and frees herself between scenes while we're watching Wolverine fighting Omega Red.
