Rainbow Brite * Mega -------mon > Rainbow Brite (before she got her powers) is supposed to search for the Color Kids imprisoned in various places around the realm. Halfway throughout the show (after rescuing a few of the Color Kids), the villain is seen driving away in his car, with the last three Color Kids tied up behind his car. Eariler, you can see 2 girls and 1 boy tied up, but during the rescue scene, as a result of a continuity glitch, the boy disappears, replaced with another female Colour Kid that Rainbow Brite rescued earlier, making that three girls tied up instead. They had ropes wrapped around their bodies, and from the looks of one of the girls rubbing her wrist, their hands might've been tied behind their backs. Rambo * Carl > This was the third or forth episode shown. It concerned Rambo's enemy, General Warhawk, kidnapped the daughter of a leader of a Central or South American Country in order to become ruler of said nation. The daughter spends the majority of the episode with her hands bound behind her back and her mouth and noses covered by a white cloth. She mumbles under the gag several times during the episode. Rave Master *Biff Barksdale "All Aboard" Parts 2 and 3 (1.43 and 1.44) Part 3 had three brief shots of Elie (voiced by Georgette Rose) bound and rendered unconscious by gas in the first three minutes or so, in a reprise of the previous ep, which I missed. Her arms are folded and bound behind her, with more bonds encircling her arms above and below her chest. Her ankles weren't shown in the shots above, but from the action I doubt they were tied. She's wearing a pink strapless evening gown with matching gloves, in a departure from her usual clothing. The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest The first capture I saw in the first episode involved Jonny. Hadji was trying to teach Jonny how to get free of ropes, but Jonny had a hard time. His hands were tied together behind him. There was more tying up later. Jonny got knocked unconcious and was hog-tied later, ropes from the hands leading to the ropes to the feet. And yet later, Jessie and Dr. Quest were found tied up in a brief scene. They were gagged and their hands were behind their back, and feet together. In another episode, the entire team, Jessie, Jonny, Dr. Quest, Race, Hadji, and a scientist who was with them (he called the Quest team there in the first place) got captured and tied up, hands behind back, ropes wrapped around them. Actually quite good. In yet another episode, two hoods were told to "grab the kid." They came across Jonny, Jessie, and Hadji, and got quite confused, so they decided to grab all the kids. Jonny and Jessie were later tied up, hands behind back, ropes around sides, while barefoot. In another episode, Jonny, Hadji, and Jessie were captured by Jeremiah Surd's evil henchfolk (he has women too), and first their hands were tied in front of them, then they were later tied to chairs with rope wrapped around them. In one episode dealing with a bird that evil characters were trying to capture, the enemies got ahold of Hadji, Jonny, and Jessie, and tied them all to a pole, hands behind back, feet together, rope wrapped around their arms and their lower legs. Two other characters were tied to chairs and gagged. Later, two evil women were captured and tied up (hands together behind back, rope wrapped around). Later, in another episode, Jessie was tied up by a demon-woman; she was tied to a chair sitting with her hands behind her back (but not behind the chair) and rope wrapped around her. The Real Ghostbusters * MARVELMAN > IN THE EPISODE "GHOST BUSTED", THE GHOSTBUSTERS BUSINESS HAS SLOWED DOWN TO A CRAWL. NO MORE GHOST AROUND TO BUST. THEY ALL DISAPPEARED. SO LATER THE GUYS MANAGE TO STOP A BURGLAR FROM ROBBING A JEWELRY STORE AND DECIDE TO GO INTO CRIME BUSTING. AFTER THEY MAKE A LOT OF CAPUTRES THE CRIME BOSS DECIDES TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. WHEN THE GUYS GO BACK TO THE FIREHOUSE AFTER THEIR LATEST BUST THEY FIND A RANSOM NOTE TELLING TO QUIT CRIMEBUSTING OR THEY WILL NEVER SEE THEIR SECRETARY JANINE EVER AGAIN. SO THE GUYS USE THEIR EQUIPMENT TO FIND JANINE BY READING HER BODY WAVES OR SOMETHING AND IT LEADS THEM TO AN UNDERGROUND GRAVEYARD FOR OLD SUBWAY CARS. THE GUYS SNEAK AROUND BUT RAY TRIPS AND SETS OF HIS PROTON BLASTER WHICH ALERTS THE CROOKS. AS THEY RUN OUT OF A SUBWAY CAR IT SHOWS JANINE TIED UP WITH ROPE WRAPPED AROUND HER UPPER BODY, LEGS TIED TOGETHER, AND GAGGED (NICE SCENE). SO AFTER FIGHTING THE BAD GUYS AND WINNING SLIMER GOES IN AND UNGAGS JANINE AND THE GUYS UNTIE HER. Record of Lodoss War I'm not positive, but I think the episode is "Blazing Departure". Elvish damsel Deedlit gets captured briefly by some baddies, and shown tied to a tree trunk by a multitude of vines. She struggles quite a bit. After a brief skirmish she is rescued. Ripley's Believe It Or Not * Grimbor Ripley got captured in the second episode, and we didn't see much ropes, just him gagged as I recall. I'm hoping for scenes involving the redhead friend of his... > "The Sweet Taste of Revenge" The island's taken over by an old enemy and Rip and Cyril spend a lot of the episode tied back to back first sitting then standing. While Samantha does a good job of sneaking past the guards when she reaches the guys she's surrounded and joins the boys in standing back to back with their hands tied behind them while the bad guys leave with Ripley relics collection. It's a brief scene as they work on quickly freeing themselves (with Sam complaining that Cyril's pinching her while fumbling with her ropes) and the bonds aren't visible. "The Lama's Skull" Samantha Seiver is briefly seen with her hands cuffed behind her back, front and rear views, when she is taken to General Lin's office after being arrested for trespassing on a Chinese military base while seeking a stolen Tibetan artifact. "Wattam the Warriors' Mask" Shipwrecked in New Guinea, Rip and Sam (Samantha) are captured by a cargo-cult tribe who worship an old spy satellite that crashlanded in the sixties. They're taken to the village slung from poles that they hang from by their bound hands and feet. After which they're locked in a bamboo cage with their hands tied behind their backs (one or two rear glimpses) while the tribe asks the satellite what to do with them. Figuring it's decreed Barbeque that night they push the cage on top of a campfire. Fortunately Cyril's arrival in an ultralight plane gives the tribe a new divine visitor from the sky to worship and Cyril decrees his friends be released before they're more than lightly singed. For those who care about such things there are no gags. Rugrats This is rather weird, but in one episode, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil were tied to a tree (in a daydream sequence, it was the mast of a ship) with *toilet paper* by Angelica. In another episode, the kids were trying to get Spike to talk because they saw a talking dog on TV, who talks when people are in trouble. So, they decide to tie Phil to a tree with toilet paper to make it appear as though he is in trouble. Spike ignores Phil and instead takes a leak, and then leaves. As the other kids are discussing what to do, Phil complains that he is still tied up. Tommy says that they forgot about Phil and Lil says "who? Oh yeah, him." Then they set him free.
