Kim Possible * Biff Barksdale ** Grimbor *** Mog > In the episode "Crush", about five minutes in, Kim and Ron come to the rescue of two video game factory employees, a woman and a man, who've been taken hostage. They're bound back-to-back with rope around their torsi. Several shots, with a couple of brief closeups. The scene's over in less than two minutes. In the episode "Sink or Swim", Kim and the rest of the cheerleading squad are captured by Gill, formerly Gil, a mutated monster boy who uses gooey green expectoration to fetter his victims to any available surface. Kim's glopped to a tree. The other girls are glupped arms out and apart to bunk beds and the ceiling of a camp cabin. Ron saves the day. The sequence begins about 16 minutes in, and lasts around nine minutes, with an ad break. In the episode "Bueno Nacho", About 17 minutes in, Kim finds herself in the clutches of archvillain and Grade A schmoe Dr. Drakken, and his beautiful and deadly associate Shego. She's clamped to the side of some machine (diabolically designed, no doubt), fettered arms above and ankles below. Rufus rescues her, and Ron, who's made a mess of his hero turn and finds himself in the same predicament. In the episode "Mind Games", about 27 minutes in, Kim and Ron are shown bound back-to-back to a post with much thick rope by the tag team of Shego and Dr. Drakken. Of course our heroes escape and foil the Diabolical Duo's nefarious plans to do something really *icky*. One thing: Kim and Ron's minds have been switched, so that kawaii young lady in the cheerleader outfit is ... um ... (not her) Much screen time, with the sequence lasting for about eight minutes. In the episode "Animal Attraction", around 16 minutes in, Kim and Ron are captured by Seņor Senior, Sr.'s [editor's note: that's one hell of a name!] mechanical tentacle thingies. Her arms and torso are snugly wrapped as she's held aloft. Later, the two are clamped down to a conveyor belt which carries them inexorably toward a flash-frozen doom. Rufus the hairless mole rat (or is he a rat mole? I was lousy in zoology.) saves the day. In the episode "Mother's Day", at about 18 minutes in, while aboard a runaway train, Kim and Mom Possible encounter nemeses Dr. Drakken & Shego (and his mother, oblivious to his nefarious occupation). After a commercial break, we see them sitting tied back-to-back, with about a half-dozen ropes encircling their arms and torsi (insert "maternal bonding" crack here). Drakken's mom doesn't understand why her son has the two tied up, but he explains it's part of their "training program". Kim struggles futilely to free herself, but parent produces a surgical laser scalpel she conveniently carried in her pocket, and uses it to burn through the ropes in short order. The scene lasts about a minute and a half. In a brief scene around 23 minutes, Kim's grabbed by some sort of glop monster's tentacle, her arms pinned to her sides. As it threatens to consume her, Doctor Mom uses the comm device to emit beta waves that calm the creature, and he loses his lunch, so to speak. Fashion note: Mother and daughter are decked out in matching de rigueur spy unis, save for Mom's modestly covered midriff. >> "Rufus in Show" Kim (wearing a black stealth suit that covers everything but her face instad of her usual action gear for a change) is bound back to back with her sidekick Ron and dangled over a pool full of electic eels by Jonny Falsetto with a swinging pendulum blade lowering towards the rope holding them up. Kim and Ron are disturbed to find that Jonny doesn't walk off and leave them to their doom but sits down to watch. As he says, "if I left I'd miss the fun" and refuses to budge even when they accuse him of breaking the supervillain's code. The pendulum cuts through the rope and the pair drop but Ron's pet Rufus manages to close the trapdoor over the tank before they fall through. Kim makes a run for it with Ron still tied to her back and manages to get up the stais and free herself. This is a short half length episode so it airs with "Adventures in Rufus Sitting" in which Kim is pinned to a wall of Duff Killigan's blimp which he sets to self destruct before bailing out. Luckily Kim's watch has a built in mini-buzzsaw so she's able to cut herself free in the nick of time "Job Unfair" After Ron's attempt to use his new paralyis ray backfires and zaps both him and Kim the scene cuts to Shego tying them back to back to a giant lightning rod while Dr. Drakken uses his new weather machine to generate a storm. The lightning is getting close when Joe, who appeared to be the janitor Kim was stuck with mentoring after an "accident" at the school job fair, turns up and reveals himself to be Canadian Secret Service then cuts them loose with a laser beam. "The Golden Years" Down in Florida to visit Grandma Possible at her retirement home Kim finds grandma and all the local seniors acting funny and follows them to the Everglades hideout of Dr Drakken. Just before she can go in for a closer look she's wrapped in yarn by two mindcontrolled knitting equipped seniors. The scene cuts to the inside of Drakken's lair where Kim's wrists are now manacled together and she's hanging from a hook over an alligator pit which Drakken is proud to point out came with the lair free of charge. Shego starts the pulley and Kim descends towards the gators but once she's out of sight she manages to use a laser built into her watch to cut through the chain then climb back up to face Shego, Drakken and the zombified seniors. But it all works out in the end. "Future" The Kim Possible movie "A Stitch In Time" consists of the episodes "Present", "Past" & "Future" edited together. All the action described in the entry for the movie can be found in the episode "Future" "Queen Bebe" While protecting a mannequin making machine some unseen force ties Kim, Ron, Rufus and the factory's security guard back to back (lots or rpoe shoulders to waist) and steals the machine in the blink of an eye. Later viewing in slow motion shows that it was a trio of Bebe robots moving at hyperspeed. Meanwhile having overheard Kim describe her high school rival Bonnie as the bossiest person on the planet the Bebes abduct her to serve as the Queen of their hive mind. When Bonnie's next seen she's sitting manacled to a chair by her wrists and ankles inside a glass cube guarded by an automatic defense system and with a helmet on her head so the Bebes can tap into her subconscious mind to direct them. Having got ahold of shoes that let her move at hyperspeed Kim attacks the Bebes while back at normal speed Bonnie belittles Ron for being unable to free her. The Bebes use their extendible arms to wrap around Kim pinning her arms to her body and her legs together while on a conveyor belt heading for a stamping machine that will squish her. Luckily Rufus has rat sized hyperspeed shoes and his intervention disables the Bebe holding Kim's legs and her kicking takes care of the other two. When the Bebe hivemind shortcircuits Bonnie is freed as the queen chamber shuts down and Kim gets them back to school in time for the dance. "Hidden Talent" Caught offguard by Shego the scene changes and Kim is seen strapped to a table in Drakken's lab with heavy chains from shoulders to hips and thighs to ankles. Drakken explains the deathtrap he's got planned; Kim is going to be welded inside a titanium box which will be dropped into a deep watery crevice which will then be filled with sharks and a giant squid after which the top six feet of water will be frozen into a solid block of ice. Kim figures it sounds better than being humiliated in the school talent show for her lack of singing ability. Once the box is submerged and starting to fill with water Kim discovers that the ring Wade gave her is also a communicator and he's tracked her and called in the authorities to deal with Drakken. All Kim has to do is still be alive when they arrive. Fortunately the ring has a powerful laser which she uses to escape the chains and the box but she loses it on the swim up and has to handle the other perils herself. Which of course she does and once they're surrounded by troops Kim steps in and leaves Shego and Drakken sitting tied back to back. "Exchange" Ron sneaks into Monkeyfist's volcano liar looking for missing ninja-girl Yori and finds her sitting on the floor bound to a stalagmite. Rufus bites through her bonds but it turns out the whole thing's a trap for Ron so Monkeyfist can eliminate the only other person with mystical monkey powers. Ron and Yori are locked in a cage which is lowered into a lavapit but luckily Rufus also has mystical monkey powers and rescues them. "Return To Wannaweep" In this sequel to "Sink Or Swim" Gil regains his mutant form of Gill and begins spraying cheerleaders with immobilizing and mutagenic green goop again. Kim and Bonnie get glued to a tree together but this time by reluctantly working together Kim is able to cut them free with Bonnie's nailfile after Bonnie realises she can't do it herself. There's brief shots of other members of the cheerleading camp at Camp Gottagrin (formerly Wannaweep), male and female wrapped in goop and starting to mutate. "Blush" In the pre-title sequence Kim is shown quickly thwarting 3 of Drakken's evil schemes while he's doing his villainous gloating routine. In the second Kim, Ron and Rufus all in spacesuits are seen tied to a pillar on a space station (as usual for Drakken by ropes around the arms & upper body only) while Drakken rants about using his destrcto-ray on Earth and there's nothing she can do about it. Kim shoots a mini grappling line from her spacesuit's heel which loops around the ray gun. She then does a kick which spins it around to point at Drakken and there's a bright flash which ends that sequence. In the third one they've already slipped their chains and escaped to blow up his undersea base before he's finished his rant and turned around. "Showdown At The Crooked D" Kim's cousin Jessie idolizes her and wants to be like her so when Kim swings into action with her grappling cable gun Jessie does the same with her homemade one. Unfortunately she needs practise and crashes into Kim getting them both tangled in the cables and left immobilized and hanging helpless for Shego and Dr Drakken to collect. "Rewriting History" Kim lassoes Shego and Dr. Drakken and pulls them out of their hovercar which goes flying off without them. Lucky for them since the electrostatic discharger they were stealing blows up. Sitting tied up on the floor the two villains find themselves in an awkward situation of having been saved by their greatest enemy but since it turns out the whole episode was a boredom induced daydream there are no lasting consequences. "The Full Monkey" Transformed into an anthromorphic monkey girl thanks to an encounter with a mystical monkey amulet Kim sits shackled to a weight bench (arms on either side of her) while Lord Monkeyfist plans to painfully remove the monkey essence. Fortunately she's able to use her new tail to toss a barbell at Monkeyfist and then pull the bolts holding the shackles closed while he's distracted and escape. "And The Mole Rat Will Be CGI" Heather, a movie star playing Kim Possible, is using wire-fu to replicate Kim's abilities but Jumior has his henchmen take over the wires leaving Heather hanging tangled up in midair. The real Kim arrives and uses Heather as a pendulum to knock down most of Juniors henchmen then frees Heather >>> In the episode "Bonded" a special gas bonds Ron to Mr. Barkin and Kim to her hated nemesis Bonnie Rockwaller. Forced to take Bonnie on a mission, the two head to the alpine lair of squat villain Professor Dementor. Bonnie (wearing a tight fitting yellow sweater and black pants) accidentally trips a trap in the villain's gift shop, and the two girls are captured by mutated wiener dogs. When next seen, Kim and Bonnie are tied to a pillar in Dementor's headquarters while he explains his evil plan. Later, they're untied from the pillar and retied to his evil machine, where they remain until a troop of girl scouts (which Barkin is the den mother of) frees them. Kim Possible: A Stitch In Time In this direct-to-DVD hour-long movie, Kim is manacled twice. First she is manacled to a chair in the future and about to have a mind-control collar put on her, along with Ron. However, she is soon rescued by friends, who even quickly tie up the female villain, arms at sides and legs together. Later in the movie, Kim is thrown onto a table and shackled at the arms and legs, but again quickly rescued. Kim Possible : So The Drama In this 70 minute movie that's the finale to the "Kim Possible" series Kim is shocked unconscious by her new boyfriend and prom date Eric after rescuing him from Shego. It turns out Eric was one of Dr. Drakken's synthi-drones and for once he's been ahead of her every step of the way and might actually conquer the world this time. She wakes up about 10 feet off the ground tied to a giant artifical cactus (Dr Drakken has taken over Bueno Nachos HQ) and Ron's nearby in the same predicament. Broken hearted and dispirited Kim's not even thinking about escaping but during Ron's pep talk he surprises her by admitting his own feelings for her. Before they can pursue this topic Rufus appears and uses Kim's laser lipstick to cut her free and she's in the mood to fight again. This scene occurs about the 1 hour mark and rather than her usual black outfit Kim's wearing a more superheroine like white battlesuit that can repel Shego's energy blasts and repair itself. King Of The Hill Never expected to see tying up in this. In one episode, the blonde teenager (Luanne Platter) was fooling around with some ropes in a gym, talking to herself and saying she was going to beat someone at his/her own game. While fooling with the ropes, however, she accidentally tied her hands together in front of her. Knights of the Zodiac * Grimbor > "Save Sienna" Princess Sienna has been grabbed by the giant Docrates and he's big enough to hold her in one hand. After giving her a squeeze and grabbing her butler in his other hand he walks off telling Seiya to bring the Gold Helmet to the arena if he wants her back. When Sieya arrives in the ring he sees Docrates in the stands with his normal sized henchmen and Sienna and her butler tied with their hands behind their backs and ropes around their torsos. Sienna demands Sieya not sacrifice the helmet for her but Sieya tells Docrates he's ready to trade. They meet in the ring to make the exchange but soon as Seiya's handed over the helmet one of the henchmen scoops up Sienna and runs off with her while others take off with the helmet. After fighting his way past Docrates Sieya punches out the henchman and unties Sienna. This was the 17th episode of Knights which is a hacked up version of "Saint Seiya" but because a number of episodes were omitted or compacted there's no way to tell which episode it was in the original series. "Attack Of The Crow Army" Jameon the Crow Knight sends his crows to capture Princess Sienna which they accomplish by looping vines around her wrists, legs and back that they seize and fly off with carrying her away. Jameon has them land by him so he can get her a look at her but after a fight with Seiya he sends the crows flying off carrying Sienna again with Seiya pursuing on the ground as the episode ends on a "To Be Continued" note. "Athena's Aura Of Love" Picking up where "Attack Of the Crow Army" left off Sienna is still being carried away by the crows and there's a few new scenes of her predicament. Seiya manages to knock out enough crows for the remainder to drop their lines with Sienna too heavy to carry by themselves. Fortunately Seiya manages to leap to her rescue before she can plunge to her death. "Away We Go" While Shun is tangled in his own Andromeda chain one of his attackers tells him that its name came from Queen Andromeda who sacrificed herself to Poisedon to spare her people from his wrath. As he does we see Queen Andromeda chained to a cliff face arms outstretched while a tidal wave approaches then a closeup on the Queen. It's a brief scene in an otherwise unremarkable episode. Kong the Animated Series * Grimbor > In the episode "Mistress of the Game" Lua is knocked out by a big hunter using a blowpipe and a tranquilizer dart. She wakes up in his jeep with her hands tied behind the back to be told she is going to be used as bait for Kong. She is herded at gunpoint (wth her hands still tied) to a clearing where she is tied between two trees and menaced by hyenas who don't care that she's an animal shaman and like prey that can't fight back. Kong shows up to save her despite her yelling at him to stay away and is knocked out. Off camera Lua is taken down from the trees and retied with her hands behind her back. Fortunately a young normal sized gorilla Kong had befriended shows up to untie her and bring the rest of the group to awaken Kong.
